A current campaign involves safeguarding the water supply of the Tualatin Valley Water District whose Board seems bent on using Willamette River water (one of the dirtest rivers in the nation) in place of the pristine water from the City of Portland's Bull Run watershed.

We are also currently working on preventing the building of a Liqualified Natural Gas Terminal on the Columbia River as part of our environmental focus.

We recently played a large part in the adoption by the City of Portland of a SweatFree ordniance designed to prevent the CIty of Portland from buying clothing from sweatshops.
