Hi, AfDers and friends.
 
The next meeting of the Alliance for Democracy will be this coming Monday, Sept 22 starting at 7PM at 112 NE 45th Ave.
 
I want to highlight a few events coming up during the next month.  I will also be getting the monthly calendar out in the next day or so, and then again at the first of the month. 
If you have events which should be included, please forward the information asap.  In you can provide in this format, it will save me time in formating it:

Event one.
Stealing America, Vote by Vote.
A new feature length documentary film, narrated by Peter Coyota, produced and directed by Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning filmmaker Dorothy Fadiman

Compelling, meticulously accurate, poignant... First Person stories from the election trenches paint a chilling picture of problems affecting electiono outcomes, "glishes' and : irregularities: which cannot be explained away as random errors.

Event three
River and sound water policy advocates needed at statewide water roundtables! Help develop a plan for Oregon's waters. Make your voice count!

“Water roundtables” sponsored by OSU Institute for Water and Watersheds; Oregon Sea Grant Extension; OSU Institute for Natural Resources; and the Oregon House Committee on Energy and the Environment will be held in Bend, Newport, Ontario, Medford and Salem to help develop a strategic water plan for Oregon see dates below/ It is critical that river advocates, fishing enthusiasts, and sound water policy advocates participate in these roundtables to ensure that any resulting water plan includes the needs of rivers, fish and the public.
The goal of the roundtables is to inform the development of a statewide sustainable water management plan. The roundtables are public forums that will “identify vision elements, priority issues, [and] possible solutions.”
