Alliance for Democracy does not endose any candidates. We do endorse paying attention to your local races, even when the national ones are so exciting. Our local representatives have such a large influence over our immediate situation.
One of these races is the run-off election between Amanda Fritz and Charles Lewis for Portland City Council. Below is an invitation to a Meet & Greet with Amanda Fritz.
Ballots are due out this weekend.
Don't forget to vote "down-ballot", meaning consider all the races on the ballot, not just the top few. This City Council race is far down on the ballot. Don't overlook it.

This is just outside of downtown, near the end of the Ross Island Bridge, but it's good to Mapquest the address for directions. It can be a tricky area of town.
