Populist Dialogues

Populist Dialogues is an AfD Portland sponsored program to be broadcast in the Portland Metro area. A new program will broadcast once each week beginning in January 2011. Each weekly 1/2 hour show is an interview by AfD national Co-chair David e. Delk of one or two people involved with an issue of importance to residents in Oregon and hopefully relevant to other parts of the nation as well.

Topics focus on issues dealing with corporate domination and how to end it. Topices include issues of "free" trade, money in politics, renewable energy, the current political situation and more.

All shows will be posted on to the Alliance for Democracy website for viewing at any time. Click here for links to all the programs.

The Water Spot
Recorded live on the first Thursday of each month and hosted either by Portland chapter President David Delk or chapter supporter Nancy Matela. Each show focuses on some different aspect of local, state, national or interenational water with guests with expectise.

The guilding priniciple for both hosts is their dedication to keeping water a public good, with the understanding that the privatization of water is determental to that good. Water is a part of the Community Commons, and is a human right.
